Jammu, Mar 24: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today paid heartfelt tributes to the veteran leader and Parliamentarian, Lalmuni Chaubey, on the occasion of his death anniversary.
Addressing a public gathering in Buxar, Bihar, to commemorate the late leader, the Lieutenant Governor highlighted Chaubey’s lifelong commitment to public welfare and nation-building. “Lalmuni Chaubey Ji was a widely respected leader who dedicated every moment of his life to serving the people and restoring the glory of Mother India. He was a beacon of hope for the underprivileged and devoted his efforts to ensuring dignity, equality, and opportunity for all,” said the Lieutenant Governor.
He further praised Chaubey’s dedication to national unity and integrity, particularly during the Emergency, when individual freedoms were under threat. “During the Emergency, when personal freedoms were at risk, Lalmuni Chaubey stood firm in protecting them. He championed the cause of national unity, propagating discipline and self-confidence among the people,” the Lieutenant Governor added.
The Lieutenant Governor urged the people, especially the youth, to draw inspiration from Lalmuni Chaubey’s life of service and dedication to the nation. “If we all dedicate ourselves to a noble cause aimed at building a strong and prosperous society—one that contributes to a developed India and self-reliant villages—only then will we truly honor the legacy of this great soul,” he said.
The event also saw the presence of Bihar Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, senior political leaders, and prominent figures from various fields, all of whom paid their respects to the late leader.
