Jammu, March 18: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Tuesday interacted with a youth delegation from Ladakh as part of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP)’s Rashtriya Ekatmta Yatra – Student Experience in Regional Understanding (SERU) initiative.
During the interaction, the youth shared their experiences and insights gained from visits to different regions of the country. The Lieutenant Governor commended ABVP for its efforts in fostering cultural exchange and national integration, providing young minds with an opportunity to explore India’s diverse heritage, democratic values and governance structures. He emphasised the importance of youth engagement in the nation-building process and encouraged them to contribute towards the vision of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’. Extending his best wishes, he expressed confidence that the initiative would broaden their perspectives, strengthen national unity, and inspire them in their academic and career pursuits. The SERU initiative aims to enhance cultural understanding, instil a sense of national pride, and equip students with knowledge that will enable them to become responsible and informed citizens.
