KU to hold entrance exams for various courses from July 15

Srinagar, July 13: The University of Kashmir is set to hold admission entrance examinations for various programs at the main campus from July 15 to July 28 this monthDr. Fayaz Ahmad, the Director of Admissions and Competitive Examinations said that the notice regarding examination centers for different courses has already been published, along with the timings for these examinations.”The entrance examinations will commence from July 15 and continue until July 28, 2025, in a shift-wise manner. Once the entrance examinations are concluded, we will also announce the results, enabling students to secure admission into various programs and attend classes according to this year’s academic calendar,” he saidThe Director of Admissions said that the notice for examination centers has been issued for the PG, LLB, B.Tech (Non-JEE), MBA, and MBA-CME (Non-CMAT) programs at the University. All entrance tests will take place at the University Main Campus, Hazratbal, Srinagar, Kashmir.”Candidates must download their ‘Admit Card’ from the official University website www.kashmiruniversity.net or www.kashmiruniversity.ac.in and bring it to the examination hall. A valid government-issued photo identification card is mandatory for entry into the examination center,” Dr. Fayaz said.He added that candidates should be seated 30 minutes prior to the start of the entrance examination. Late arrivals may not be permitted to enter the center.”Detailed ‘Instructions’ regarding the Entrance Test, Test Booklet, OMR, Answer Key, Merit List, Selection List, Counseling, Admission procedures, and related matters are available on the University website. Candidates are strongly advised to read all instructions carefully, as ignorance of any instruction will not be accepted as an excuse should examinees incur any loss or damage,” the Director of Admissions said.He further said that entrance is being conducted provisionally subject to fulfillment of all eligibility conditions by or before 29th July 2025. Any examinee failing to establish eligibility by the above date shall not be considered for admission even if having appeared in the Entrance Test.
