The Kashmiri Pandit community activists have been agitating over this issue for a year when the relief was stopped by the AAP government led by Arvind Kejriwal.
The new dispensation under BJP in Delhi has made promises to the displaced community from Kashmir that their issues would be addressed to the satisfaction of the agitating community members.
The KP displaced community has been pursuing the protests in this regard under the banner of JKIDWS & Vitasta Kashmir Desk for the last several months along with the other organisations of the community. A strong protest in this connection was held on 7th of this month outside the Delhi Secretariat which was followed by a series of meetings with the ministers and the concerned officials of the Delhi administration.
On the basis of the assurances given by the Chief Minister, Cabinet Ministers and the important higher-ups in the administration, the organisers have decided to convene a programme on 25th May 2025 in New Delhi in which Ashish Sood, Home and Education Minister will be the chief guest.
