Srinagar, Nov 24: Senior Peoples Democratic Party leader and Incharge Eidgah Constituency, Mohammad Khurshid Alam, held an extensive interaction with the residents and party members of Jamalatta in Nawa Kadal.
Accompanied by PDP leader and Habba Kadal Incharge, Arif Laigaroo, Alam engaged in in-depth discussions with locals about their pressing concerns, including inadequate infrastructure, rising unemployment among youth and the agonising increase in prices of essential commodities.
During the visit, Alam reassured the gathering that the PDP, under the visionary leadership of President Mehbooba Mufti, remains resolute in its commitment to the welfare of the people. He reaffirmed the party’s unwavering dedication to protecting public interests, irrespective of electoral outcomes.
“Our esteemed President Mehbooba Mufti Sahiba has instilled in us a vision rooted in public welfare. As we have consistently stated, whether we win or lose elections, our resolve to serve the people will never falter. Yesterday, today, and in the years ahead, we will continue to stand by this promise and raise our voices for the people,” Alam affirmed.
He also called upon PDP cadres to stay firmly connected with the grassroots, ensuring that public grievances are effectively communicated to the relevant authorities.
Alam emphasized that the PDP’s mission remains focused on being a people-first party, committed to addressing the challenges faced by residents and working towards sustainable solutions.
