Jammu, Dec 31: Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CC&I) Tuesday advocated dialogue with the Snagarsh Samiti over Katra shutdown stressing that the issue be resolved or the larger interests of pilgrims.
A meeting of the Office Bearers of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry was convened at Chamber House under the leadership of Arun Gupta to discuss the situation arising from the shutdown call by Sangrash Samiti against the proposed ropeway project and the extension of the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway beyond Katra.

This dialogue should focus on addressing the concerns of the people of Katra, especially as women and children are actively involved in the ongoing agitation, while also considering the upcoming Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrimage,” a statement issued here said. Present at the meeting were Anil Gupta, Sr. Vice President, Rajeev Gupta, Jr. Vice President, Rajesh Gupta, Secretary and Rajesh Gupta, Treasurer.
