The village of Bangladesh was formed after a devastating fire incident in nearby Zurimanz village. The locals of Zurimanz, who lost their homes in the fire, took shelter in the nearby area, which eventually turned into the village of Bangladesh. The village got its name from the recently ended Bangladesh war, and the locals decided to name their new home after the newly formed country.
The locals, who hail from the fishermen community, are excited about the prospect of their village becoming a hotspot for tourists. The villagers believe that if the government provides better facilities and develops the village, more tourists will visit Bangladesh.

Another local who also launched Shikara in the lake said, “We are proud of our village and its natural beauty. Our goal is to make Bangladesh a must-visit destination for tourists who come to this part of the world.”
