Aisha Sadiq Choudhary never gave up her dream of acting and modeling even after facing many ups and downs in her life.Instead, she learnt lessons from every adversity and eventually won the title of Mrs. Supermodel International 2022 in a recently held modeling event in Jaipur which was organized by Dreamz House Production, Delhi.
Aisha belongs to a tribal community and journey for acting and modeling was not a cakewalk for her as she belongs to a community where such participation is not appreciated. However, family support enabled her to pursue her passion.
Hailing from Sidra Jammu, originally from Rajouri’s Gujjar (tribal) community 25-year-old Aisha, a professional model has done diploma in Fashion Designing from Okhla Delhi and is running her boutique at Sidhra Jammu.
Aisha always dreamt to become a model since her childhood. Even after many ups and downs in her life, she never gave up and learnt from every adversity.
The young model is hopeful of better opportunities and wishes to participate in reality shows and achieve greater success. She is very positive about every aspect of life and believes in never give up attitude.
“It is a great honor for me to win this prestigious title and the show was fantastic. I extended my gratitude to my well-wishers, supporters, friends, and parents for being so supportive and encouraging, instilling strength, faith, and confidence in me to succeed even after many hardships” Aisha told Rising Kashmir.
She said, “It was nothing but hard work and with hard work comes success. Even the win has infused in my self-belief that I can win in the future as well.”
Upon asking how she ended up as a model she said that basically she had a good height from early age and teachers would ask her to join modeling.
“People often disregard Gujjar and Bakarwal by considering them uncivilized, backward nomads and possessing nothing. To break that notion and change the mindset of people about tribals I opt modelling,” she said, adding “Being from a conservative society, I was initially criticized for choosing modeling as a career but taking that positively made me more motivated.”
She said her husband Arif Choudhary, a fitness coach in Sidra Jammu and Mr. J&K 2021 and her in-laws supported her in pursuing her dream modeling.
After winning this title, she is very excited and people from all across India are showering love and support to her, especially from the Gujjar community including J&K, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, etc.
Dreamz Production House, well known in the modeling and fashion industry hosted the grand finale of the 8th season of Supermodel International 2022 in Jaipur.
Aisha said that the production house gave her and other models a family environment and allowed them to wear costumes of their own choice while caring for their sentiments.
One of the biggest & prestigious events of this year, it was an exciting platform for talent across the country as the pageant team visited over 20 cities across the country to audition contestants.A total of 85 participants took part in the show.
The first and second runners-up positions were bagged by Mrs. Devamita Goswami from Kolkata and Mrs. Mahi Kapoor from J&K, respectively.
Competing in the pageant, the participants went through intense rounds with renowned experts of the industry. The gala event included three rounds on the theme of Traditional, Indo-Western, and Designer Outfits.
“We conducted auditions in 20 places in all over India then gathered all participants at one place in Jaipur for five days for teaching them modeling,” Sharad Chaudhary, organizer of the competition and Founder of Dreamz Production House told Rising Kashmir .
Chaudhary added various celebrities graced the much-talked-about show as the jury of the pageant film and entertainment fraternity including Bigg Boss and Roadies fame Prince Narula, Actor and Model Rohit Khandelwal, renowned model Gargee Nandi and Arushi Handa, and Mr. India Supermodel Abhishek Dubey from Bhopal was also a part of the jury team.
“Dreamz Production House aims to successfully provide an integrated platform for the new and aspiring Indian models from different cities in the country to make their dream of modeling, fashion, theatre, television, and films come true,’’ he said.
Chaudhary further said that they have always received tremendous response for the show and have made mark this year too.
“This stage has given many newcomers a chance to be a part of the fashion and entertainment fraternity. This beauty pageant is a platform that’s committed to giving participants a chance to showcase their talent and shine as an individual,” he said.
