Karmanya from JMPS Jammu wins Gold Medal at National Matsogi-Do Championship

Chandigarh, Dec 30: Karmanya Vivek Sharma, a class 5th student of Jodhamal Public School, Jammu, son of Prof. Vivak M Arya and Miss Neetu Sharma of Sainik Colony, wins gold medal in the long fight category in the 19th National Matsogi-Do Championship. The prestigious event, organized by the Matsogi-Do Association Chandigarh, took place at Punjab University, Chandigarh, Punjab.
Karmanya wins the gold medal in a match where he faced top tier competitor from the other state. He performed exceptionally showing the skills of high calibre throughout the tournament. The team is playing under the overall supervision of the coach Vishal Samrat. Beside this gold medal Karmanya has impressive list of medals and accomplishment which he won at district and state level. In addition to his interest in games, he actively participates in social and community services being a dedicated young member of the Yashpal Sharma Foundation (YPS), a non-profit foundation that assists the needy people throughout the UT of Jammu and Kashmir and other states.
