Kulgam, July 14: In a recent election held for the Kulgam District Volleyball Association, dignitaries and officials were welcomed to witness the democratic process unfold. Kuldip Magotra, the Chief Executive Officer of the Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir (VAJK), served as the returning officer, while observers included Sh. Ramesh Sharma, the treasurer of VAJK, and Mohd Tariq, the Joint Secretary of VAJK.
Under the diligent supervision of Kuldip Magotra, the election proceeded smoothly, culminating in the unanimous selection of office bearers for the next term from 2023 to 2027. Anyat Ullah Rather emerged as the newly elected president, with Nelofar Habib securing the position of secretary.
Following the election, the newly formed body nominated individuals to fill key executive positions. The appointed office bearers include:
