Jammu, Nov 17: JKSPYM on Thursday organized one-day program for community members on Mission Life “Life Style for Environment”. It was in continuation of program recently launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the presence of United Nation Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
“Mission Life focuses on mindful and deliberate utilization of resources and its philosophy is to promote sustainable lifestyles and reduced carbon footprints in order to make environment and climate healthy for future generations,” the JKSPYM said in a statement. “In this regard, 75 life action points which needs to be implemented for sustainable environment was discussed with the community members and they were sensitized for its implementation in their daily life.”
More than 50 participants were present on the occasion. JKSPYM team focused on implementing the same in their NGO setup as well as personal setup. Through this program, JKSPYM has tried to convey the message of mission life to the people of Jammu Kashmir.
