A daylong workshop was on Wednesday organized by Jammu & Kashmir Rural Livelihoods Mission (JKRLM) at District Mission Management Unit Shopian on Digital Seva Portal services.
Digi pay Sakhi Module was started by MORD through Self Help Groups under the Umbrella of SRLMs with the aim to strengthen the network of “One BC/Digipay Sakhi in One Gram Panchayat”.
During the introductory session, the State Programme Manager Financial Inclusion, Zubair Ahmed highlighted the essence of engaging SHG members as Banking Correspondents as well as Digi Pay sakhies so that the banking services will be taken to the doorsteps of people who are still excluded and introduce them to the new age banking tools particularly focus on women strata.
