J&K Bank gives a warm send off to its General Manager & DGM

Srinagar, Feb 01: J&K Bank bid a warm farewell to its General Manager Tabassum Nazir, who superannuated yesterday after serving the institution with dedication for over 35 years in various key capacities.

Executive Director (ED) Sudhir Gupta chaired the farewell function held at the Bank’s Corporate Headquarters, which was attended by General Managers, Deputy General Managers and other senior officials.

In his message on the occasion, MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee lauded her contribution to the Bank’s growth and success. “Her commitment and unique leadership will leave a lasting impact on the institution. She has been an inspiration to many, and we deeply appreciate her dedication over the decades. We wish her the very best in her future endeavours,” he said.

Commending her contribution, ED Sudhir Gupta said that Tabassum Nazir has set high benchmark of performance for younger staff especially women officers of the Bank.

Expressing her gratitude, Tabassum Nazir thanked the Bank’s leadership and colleagues for their support throughout her journey. “I carry with me countless cherished memories from this beloved institution, which I consider the most precious gift of my life,” she said.

The event concluded with heartfelt wishes for her future from her colleagues, acknowledging her valuable contribution to the Bank’s rich legacy.

Meanwhile, J&K Bank gave a warm send-off to one of its senior management functionaries, Vinod Kumar Sharma, who retired yesterday as Deputy General Manager (DGM) after serving the Bank with distinction for over three decades. He was last posted as DGM (Law) at the Bank’s Supervision & Controls (S&C) Office, Jammu.

General Manager Ashutosh Sareen chaired a farewell meet held at the Bank’s Jammu Divisional Office, in presence of Divisional Head (Jammu) Sunit Kumar, DGMs, and other senior officers, who acknowledged and appreciated the outgoing officer’s long-standing contributions to the institution.

In his message on the occasion, J&K Bank’s Executive Director Sudhir Gupta said, “Vinod Kumar Sharma’s commitment and professionalism over the years have been his most valuable contributions towards the Bank. And today on behalf of the entire J&K Bank family, I wish him a happy, healthy and fulfilling post-retirement life.”

During the farewell meet, all the participants lauded Vinod Kumar Sharma’s commitment throughout his career and wished him the very best in his future endeavors.
