Srinagar, July 08: Bharatiya Janaya Party (BJP) National General Secretary and Incharge J&K Ladhak Tarun Chugh on Monday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, saying India has emerged as a global hero under his guidance.
Chugh in a statement issued here highlighted various achievements and reforms implemented during Modi’s tenure, which he said significantly elevated India’s stature on the world stage.
He said the Modi government’s initiatives like infrastructural development, economic reforms and welfare schemes have positioned India on par with developed nations.
The BJP leader complimented the successful handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, India’s rapid economic recovery, and its advancements in technology and manufacturing, including becoming the world’s second-largest mobile phone manufacturer.
“The peaceful and democratic progress in regions like Jammu and Kashmir, following significant political changes such as the abrogation of Article 370 have led to increased voter participation and stability,” he said.
