Horticulture dept welcomes new members in inspiring ceremony of patriotism, progress

Srinagar, Aug 10: A momentous gathering took place at the Directorate of Horticulture, Rajbagh, Srinagar, as a jubilant function under the banner of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav-Meri Maati Mera Desh” unfolded. The event, chaired by Director Horticulture G. R. Mir (JKAS) and co-chaired by Imam U Din (JKAS), Managing Director of JKHPMC, resonated with the spirit of patriotism and progress. This gathering was meticulously organized to extend a hearty welcome to the newly appointed members in the Department of Horticulture.
The central focus of the event was the ceremonial appointment of 17 skilled Horticulture Technicians and 03 proficient Stenographers. The appointment orders were conferred by the esteemed Director Horticulture, G. R. Mir, following their successful recruitment by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (SSB). This milestone not only recognizes their talent but also underscores the department’s commitment to nurturing a talented workforce.
Director Horticulture G. R. Mir extended a warm welcome to the newly inducted members, emphasizing the vital role they will play in the growth and development of the horticulture sector. He expressed his confidence in their abilities and encouraged them to approach their duties with dedication and enthusiasm. Mir’s words of encouragement resonated with the audience, creating an atmosphere of excitement and motivation.
The function was graced by the presence of Deputy Director Horticulture, along with other esteemed officers of the Department, who joined in to offer their heartfelt congratulations and well wishes to the fresh recruits. This collaborative and supportive environment symbolized the unity and shared vision of the Department of Horticulture.
The event was an inspiring blend of tradition and progress, embodying the ethos of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav-Meri Maati Mera Desh.” The attendees departed with a renewed sense of purpose, invigorated by the collective determination to propel the Department of Horticulture to greater heights.
