Srinagar, Aug 13: On the occasion of the martyrdom day of Hazrat Imam Zainul Abidin (AS), special events were organized across the valley by Anjuman-e-Sharie Shiaan Jammu and Kashmir.
The largest gathering of this series was held in Shalimar, Srinagar where after the Majlis-e-Husayni (AS), a grand procession was taken out from the Daulat Khana of Al-Haj Muhammad Maqbool Hussain Arabal Shalimar under the leadership of “Hujjat-ul-Islam Wal Muslimeen” Agha Sayyid Hasan Al-Mousavi Al-Safavi, head of The Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Shari’a Sha’ian. The procession culminated at Imambara Gulshan Ali Shalimar.
Addressing a gathering of devotees at Bagh Zainab (AS) Shalimar, Agha Hasan explained various aspects of the character and character of Imam Zainul Abidin (AS). He said that Imam Zainul Abidin (AS) through his role and actions has conveyed the thought and message of the Battle of Karbala.
“If a chosen personality like Imam al-Sajjad (AS) was not available for the promotion of the message of Karbala, the great sacrifices of the martyrs of Karbala would have been written in the history of Islam in the form of just a story and the message of Ashura would not have flowed in the form of a movement,” he said, adding, “The main goal of the struggle of Imams was to preserve religion and Sharia in its true form for the living world.”
“The main reason for the enmity of the innocents with the rulers of the time was that the policies of the rulers were against the religion and Sharia and the Imams (AS) kept interrupting the rulers with courage. This attitude was the main reason for the martyrdom of Imam Zainul Abidin (AS),” Agha said.
He said that after the battle of Karbala, the attention of Imam Zainul Abidin (AS) was drawn towards the promotion and promotion of the holy cause of the martyrs of Karbala. “In this regard, Imam Hussain (AS) courageously introduced the message and thoughts of Ashura al-Husaini to the Muslim Ummah despite the bloody ambitions of the government of the time,” Agha Hassan said.
