Gear up for ULB, Panchayat polls, Bukhari to party leaders in Jammu

Jammu, Nov 27: Apni Party president, Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari on Wednesday directed the party leaders in Jammu to prepare for Urban Local Body and Panchayat elections by increasing public outreach programs.
As per a press release, Bukhari chaired a meeting of the Apni Party leaders here at the Gandhi Nagar Office here and reviewed political scenario and chalked out the future strategy to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
During the meeting, the party leaders discussed organisational structure and other related issues. After listening to them, Altaf Bukhari directed them to intensify their public outreach program and meet the people in their respective constituencies and highlight their issues for early redressal of grievances. He appreciated the leaders for working tirelessly with zeal and enthusiasm among the people and strengthening the party.
Regarding the impending Urban Local Body and Panchayat elections in J&K, Bukhari directed the party leaders to gear up for these elections in their respective constituencies and listen to the grievances of the people. The party leaders should stay in touch with the people at ground level and increase their political activities, he said.
Meanwhile, the Apni Party president was briefed about the strategy to strengthen the party in Jammu Province. The meeting was attended by General Secretary, Vijay Bakaya; General Secretary, Rafi Mir; Provincial President, Jammu, S. Manjit Singh; Provincial Senior Vice President Jammu & Ex-MLA Faqir Nath, Provincial Vice President Jammu & Ex-MLA Prem Lal; Additional General Secretary, Arun Chibber; ST Wing J&K President, Saleem Alam; SC Wing President, Bodh Raj Bhagat; Vice President Youth Wing, Vishal Narania, Vice President Youth Wing/ Spokesperson/ Media Coordinator, Raqeeq Ahmed Khan; SC Wing District President Samba, Sahil Bharti; Provincial President Women Wing Jammu, Pavneet Kour; Women Wing’s Provincial Vice President, Neelam Gupta; Senior District Vice President Jammu, Vaibhav Mattoo; Active Member, Madan Lal Thakur, and others.
