GDC Akhnoor celebrates Constitution Day

Akhnoor, Nov 27: To commemorate the Constitution Day, GDC Akhnoor organised multiple activities under the guidance of Principal, Prof Surinder Singh Parihar.
In the morning, there was a quiz competition on the topic “Constitution of India”. There were four rounds in the competition and finally the First Prize was bagged by Sourav Sharma and Sujal Sharma of Semester 1, Second Prize was bagged by Anjali Sharma and Komal Sharma of Semester 1 and Third Prize was taken by Tanushree and Sakshi Sharma of Semester1. 
In another activity, Mohan Lal Bhagat, SSP Deputy Director (Trainings) Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur delivered a Keynote address on “India – The Mother of Democracy” which was followed by interaction with students. In other activity, NCC cadets carried out awareness activity, poster making and cleanliness under Puneet Sagar Abhiyan under the guidance of ANO Lt. Shivani Sharma and Lt. Kuldeep Kumar. 
Finally, the local surpanches and Harjeet Singh, SHO Akhnoor deliberated with students and listen to their problems in the college. The activities ended with vote of thanks from Dr Rashmi Sharma.
