Shopian, Dec 30: The 178 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organized a free medical camp in Zanapora, Shopian district, on Saturday. The camp, inaugurated by Commandant Surjit Kumar and attended by Chief Guest SDPO.
The camp witnessed locals, including women, children, and senior citizens. A team of doctors from the CRPF conducted free medical checkups, provided consultations, and distributed essential medicines to attendees.
“This initiative is not just about medical aid,” Commandant Kumar stated. “It’s about strengthening the bond between the CRPF and the local community and bridging the gap between the community and the security forces.”

A resident who benefited from the medical camp stated, “this free medical camp is a good initiative for us and this initiative has brought healthcare right to our doorstep.”
