Poonch, July 16: Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to review the progress achieved in the implementation of the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme and other credit-linked initiatives in the agriculture and allied sectors under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the financial year 2024–25.A statement issued here said that during the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner assessed the achievements against the previous HADP targets and emphasised the need to intensify efforts for the effective implementation of ongoing schemes. He directed the concerned officers to expedite the issuance of KCCs, ensure maximum enrollment of farmers on the DAKSH portal and bring the pendency of eKYC to zero at the earliest. The review also covered key schemes such as Daksh Kisan, PM-KISAN and KCC. On this, the Deputy Commissioner issued clear directions for their time-bound and result-oriented execution. He underscored the importance of inter-departmental coordination to ensure timely delivery of benefits to the farming community and to enhance overall agricultural productivity in the district. The Deputy Commissioner reiterated the administration’s commitment to achieving the set targets under Daksh Kisan and other HADP-linked programs and called upon all stakeholders to strictly adhere to timelines and implementation guidelines.
