Doda, Jan 24: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is set to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of its flagship initiative, ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’, with a special outreach program in Doda on January 27.
The event will be held at the Conference Hall, DC Office, Doda, and aims to create awareness about social security provisions and enhance stakeholder engagement. The program will focus on educating employers, employees, and pensioners about EPFO schemes, such as Provident Fund, Pension, and the Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme. It will also address critical themes, including grievance redressal mechanisms, fraud prevention, and the rights of employees.
Regional PF Commissioner, Shri Rizwan Uddin, emphasized the importance of broad-based participation and urged all stakeholders, including contractors, private schools, industrial chambers, and government departments, to attend. The program aims to foster a deeper understanding of social security provisions and ensure compliance with the EPF and MP Act, 1952.

The programme highlights include on the spot grievance redressal. Participants will receive assistance with issues such as member profile updates, death claims, and pension-related queries through a dedicated Pension Help Desk. Awareness on Digital Services: Attendees will learn about UAN activation, Aadhaar and bank account seeding, e-nominations, and online claim filing.
Employers will be educated on compliance requirements, including the Principal Employer Dashboard and timely registration of employees to extend social security benefits. The program will also provide enrolment services for employees and focus on themes such as filing grievances through platforms like EPFiGMS and CPGRAMS. Special sessions will be conducted to promote fraud prevention and ensure a transparent system for stakeholders.
EPFO has been actively extending social security benefits across the Union Territories of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. Services under the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995, and the enhanced Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (EDLI), 1976, offering coverage up to Rs 7 lakhs, have been available since November 2019. EPFO’s outreach initiative underscores its commitment to bringing services closer to stakeholders and fostering an information exchange network. Officials also invited feedback and suggestions from participants to improve service delivery.
The program is expected to witness significant participation from employees, pensioners, industry representatives, contractors, and educational institutions, ensuring maximum reach and impact.
