Jammu, March 16: Working towards ensuring social security to all the eligible members and their family members, a team of officers and officials from EPFO Regional Office Jammu under the leadership of Rizwan Uddin, RPFC–I have processed over a dozen claims of death cases where benefits have been disbursed to their family members.
The team led by Rizwan Uddin comprised Ajit Mishra, RPFC–II, Shiva Murthy T, AO, Ketan Saxena, SSSA and Sanjeev Kumar SSSA, the EPFO said in a statement.
“Women/Family members of deceased employees are getting respectable amounts as a benefit (Social Security) of Employees’ Provident Fund, Employees’ Deposit linked Insurance and Pension Scheme in J& K and Ladakh,” the statement said. “Death claims settlement: Special emphasis has been laid on the settlement of death claims. Accordingly, multiple death claims have been processed and benefits have been provided to the claimants. This includes PF and Insurance benefits. The insurance benefits are as: Late Sher Singh Rs. 4,61,272, Late Ravinder Bind Rs. 2,50,000, Late Sandeep Rai Bakshi Rs. 2,50,000.”
