Srinagar, Mar 27: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) President for Jammu and Kashmir, Sat Sharma and General Secretary Ashok Koul convened a crucial review meeting with former District Presidents in Srinagar to strengthen the party’s grassroots presence in the valley.
The meeting, attended by key party figures, focused on enhancing outreach, addressing local concerns, and implementing welfare schemes initiated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government to better connect with the community and aid the needy.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the meeting, emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts to bolster the BJP’s foundation and expand its influence in Jammu & Kashmir. He said that the party is committed to address local concerns and to build a stronger connection with the people.
He enumerated the public welfare works undertaken for the welfare of the poor, needy and the oppressed under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Union government.
The J&K BJP Chief asked them to take such pro-people schemes to the needy population with the collaborative efforts to yield the maximum results. “While this exercise will aid the needy persons, this will further improve the rapport of the party and its activists among the general masses,” he said.
Ashok Koul, in his address, asked the senior leaders of party to form a strong connection between the senior leadership and the ground level activists while inducting the new entrants into appropriate place into the organisation to benefit the party and the people. He asked the former district presidents to share the organisational and the local population related issues.
District presidents shared valuable insights and feedback from their respective districts, offering perspectives on how to enhance the party’s organisational structure and outreach at the local level.
