The Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday said that elections will be held in Jammu and Kashmir soon after Election Commission of India (ECI) will complete their exercise.
“People of Jammu and Kashmir will be soon have right to choose their representatives after ECI will complete their delimitation exercise,” he said.
Shah said some people are saying Government of India should talk to Pakistan, but we will talk to people who were ignored since past 70 years in JK.
“We will speak to Gujjars, Pahadis and Gujjars who were alienated by the previous government regimes in JK,” he said.
