Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday said that during the past years, Union Territory of
Jammu and Kashmir witnessed ₹56000 Cr investment that is much higher than last 75 years.
Addressing a rally in Barmamulla, Shah said during the 75 years’s family rule Jammu and Kashmir, it witnessed only ₹15000 Crore investment. During the past three years, ₹56000 Cr investment was recived in the UT.
He said so far this year, 22 lakh tourists have visited Kashmir valley and it will go beyond in upcoming years.
“Now terrorism is on decline and tourism is in rise in JK,'” Shah added.
He said over 42000 people of J&K have been killed due to terrorism and who is responsible for those innocent killings, Shah questioned.
