Srinagar, Jan 20: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Monday replaced Hina Shafi Bhat as Chairperson Khadi and village industries Board.
As per the order, Surinder Kumar Choudhary, the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Industries and Commerce Department, has been appointed as the chairman of the board, replacing the incumbent chairperson, senior BJP leader Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat.
“In supersession of all previous orders issued on the subject, Board of Directors of J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board is reconstituted,” reads an order.
The Administrative Secretary of Finance, Administrative Secretary of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, Administrative Secretary of Industries and Commerce Department, Registrar Cooperative Societies J&K, Director General (Codes) of the Finance Department, Director of MSME DL J&K, Director of Industries and Commerce Jammu, Mission Director of Rural Livelihood Mission J&K, and Director of Industries and Commerce Kashmir have all been appointed as directors on the board.
