Srinagar, Apr 29: School Education Department of Kashmir has asked the Director State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) to conduct a survey regarding the implementation of the school bag policy in government and private schools across the Kashmir Valley.
An official from the Directorate of School Education (DSEK) told Rising Kashmir with regards to implementation of Rule 8A of J&K School Education Act, 2002, Rules and National School Bag Policy 2020.
“JKSCERT has been requested that a survey be kindly conducted in 6 schools, consisting of 2 government schools and 4 private schools, in each district of the Kashmir valley, and in the Srinagar district, the survey can be conducted in 12 schools, which include 4 government schools and 8 private schools, by involving the District Institution of Trainings (DIETS) from the Kashmir Division in collaboration with the Chief Education Officers so that the findings can be shared with the administrative department,” the official said.
