Srinagar, May 02: National Conference (NC) president, Dr Farooq Abdullah and vice president & Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday expressed profound grief over the demise of the renowned Islamic scholar and preacher, Maulana Mubarak Mubarki, president of Bazm-e-Tawheed and Khateeb of Bazar Masjid, Srinagar.
In their heartfelt message, the duo acknowledged the immense loss felt by the people at the demise of Maulana Mubarki, who left behind a legacy of devotion, unity, and social service.
Recognised for his wisdom, humility and unwavering commitment to Islamic teachings, they recalled how Maulana Mubarki had touched countless lives through his sermons and religious guidance.
Dr Farooq and Omar prayed for peace to the departed soul in the highest echelons of Jannat and fortitude to the grieving family during this difficult time.
