Jammu, Dec 10: Prathamansh Sharma (Class XI), a budding artist of Delhi Public School Jammu brought laurels to the institution and his parents by winning third prize in Category-A of Drishika National Level Science Art Competition IGNITE-2022 organized online by National Institute of Science Education and Research held at Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. He has also received a Certificate of Achievement. The theme of the competition was “Country, women and science, what is it that comes to your mind?”
Prathamansh made a beautiful painting of the late Indian-American Astronaut, Dr. Kalpana Chawla using mediums such as Poster colours, Acrylic colours with a dry brush on cartridge paper which received huge appreciation. Prathamansh has been inspired in childhood by his father Suresh Sharma, a renowned artist in Jammu.
Principal-DPS Jammu, Ms Ruchi Chabra congratulated Prathamansh & his parents and encouraged him to continue to excel in his artistic pursuits along with his studies.
President-RCT, M K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC, Dr Kuwarani Ritu Singh and Director, S S Sodhi congratulated Prathamansh and extended their best wishes for his future endeavours.
