Ganderbal, May 12: Dorjay Esmalla, an active Congress worker from Kargil in the Union Territory of Ladakh, along with his party workers, underscored key points from the party’s manifesto and highlighted robust support for its candidate.
Addressing the media persons, Esmalla highlighted critical issues that the Congress party aims to address if elected to power. These issues include advocating for the inclusion of the Sixth Schedule, addressing concerns related to the National Pension System (NPS), and supporting the rollback of the Agniveer scheme.
Esmalla outlined the party’s stance on pivotal matters such as job creation for youth, advocating for special budget allocations to benefit Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), and promoting women’s empowerment. He emphasised the party’s commitment to providing Rs. 1 lakh to every impoverished family, showcasing Congress’s dedication to grassroots support and welfare initiatives.
Responding to inquiries, Esmalla highlighted the strong backing received by the Congress candidate in Kargil, reflecting a united front within the party’s ranks.
