DC, SSP Poonch flag off vibrant Tiranga Bike Rally under HGT campaign

Poonch, Aug 10: In a spirited celebration of patriotism and national pride, the District Administration Poonch, in collaboration with the district Police Poonch, Sunday hosted a vibrant and long-distance Tiranga bike rally as part of the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.As per a statement issued here, the event was held to mark the Independence Day celebrations and to promote the message of unity and pride in the nation’s heritage. The rally was formally flagged off from the Sports Stadium Poonch by the Deputy Commissioner and Senior Superintendent of Police Poonch. Senior officers from the district and police administration, including CRPF, along with employees and local residents participated in the Tiranga rally, carrying the national flag with pride and embodying the spirit of freedom and patriotism. The enthusiastic bikers, adorned with the Tricolour, traversed a long and scenic route covering key locations in Poonch, including the Sher-e-Kashmir Bridge, Kalai Bridge and Nangali Sahib, before concluding at the Sports Stadium. The event witnessed wholehearted involvement from people across different sections of society.
