Poonch, Aug 17: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Ashok Kumar Sharma, Friday conducted a tour of the Mandi–Loran areas to inspect and review developmental works underway in the region.As per a statement issued here, during the visit, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the Mandi Mandir Management Committee and local residents at Loran, listening to their grievances and demands. He assured them of prompt redressal of genuine issues, reiterating the administration’s commitment to grassroots development and welfare. The Deputy Commissioner inspected the landslide-affected area near Nangali Sahib and reviewed restoration work. As part of his tour, he paid obeisance at Shri Budha Amarnath Ji Mandir Mandi, Sai Illahi Baksh Ziyarat at Battalkote, and Gurudwara Dera Santpura Nangali Sahib. At these shrines, he prayed for peace, communal harmony and prosperity of the region. Highlighting Poonch’s tradition of cultural and spiritual diversity, the Deputy Commissioner reiterated the administration’s resolve to promote equitable development, social cohesion and interfaith harmony, stressing that unity in diversity remains the guiding strength of the district
