Doda, Aug 14: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh today chaired a meeting of the Change of Land Use (CLU) Committee to review applications received from across the district.According to a statement issued here, a total of 14 cases were discussed to ensure compliance with the Land Revenue Acts and other regulations. The DC stressed transparent and time-bound processing of CLU applications to promote planned development and prevent unauthorised land conversion.He directed departments to expedite verification, maintain proper documentation and improve inter-departmental coordination. He also highlighted the need to balance development with environmental sustainability and protection of agricultural land.Officers from the Revenue Department, Engineering wing and other line departments provided inputs on the pending and approved applications.The meeting was attended by the CEO Bhaderwah Development Authority, ACR Doda, DFO Doda/Bhaderwah, CAO Doda, Deputy Director Employment Doda, concerned Tehsildars, XENs and revenue officials.
