Sharing his broader vision about the university, Prof. Ravinder A Nath, asked the faculty members to come up with a prospective plan for another 15 years of their respective departments so that work on them would be taken up accordingly. Earlier this week, the CUK VC held a meeting with the Deans of Schools and discussed various issues related to academics, research, and organising of academic activities during the current academic session.

The Vice-Chancellor asked the participants to send proposals along with budgetary details for organising international and national level workshops, conferences and seminars and assure them that such activities would be a regular feature of the university. He said the career progression of the faculty members would be encouraged and the university would ensure their participation in academic conferences and activities conducted by the sister universities.
He said the university has already started implementation of the NEP-2020 and the departments have been instructed to follow it in letter and spirit. Prof. A Ravinder Nath advised the Heads and Coordinators of the Departments to encourage the faculty members to apply for grant of research projects from the government departments and institutions of higher learning conducting research on various issues, adding the research conducted by the scholars should also have local relevance and should help in mitigating the sufferings of the masses. He laid stress on the launch of skill and innovative courses in all the disciplines.
