Speaking at the gathering, Prof. Shahid Rasool highlighted Prof. Qureshi’s stature as a distinguished economist and visionary leader who was instrumental in shaping CUKashmir’s identity. “His leadership and unwavering commitment to academic excellence laid the foundation for the institution’s success,” Prof. Rasool remarked.
Dean of the School of Legal Studies, Prof. Farooq Ahmad Mir, hailed Prof. Qureshi as a pioneer whose foresight shaped the university’s path. “As a founding leader, he designed the roadmap for CUKashmir’s growth. His tireless efforts were pivotal in fostering an environment of learning and innovation,” he noted.
Registrar Prof. M. Afzal Zargar, in his message, affirmed the university’s commitment to upholding Prof. Qureshi’s legacy. “His humility, wisdom, and generosity earned him deep respect from all who worked with him. His enduring passion for education will inspire our journey forward,” he said.
