Kulgam, July 10: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat on Monday chaired a meeting of officers to take stock of physical and financial achievements made under District Capex and other schemes.
During the meeting, it was informed that there are a total of 2421 approved works under District Capex which include 2270 new works and 151 ongoing works. 1770 works have been administratively approved for execution. The DC instructed the concerned to float tenders of administratively approved works at the earliest.
While reviewing progress under centrally sponsored schemes, the DC instructed concerned officers to achieve the set targets so that the potential outcome shall be achieved. He directed the concerned officers to ensure the completion of all approved MPLAD works. He stressed utilizing the working season properly to complete work well on time. He urged the concerned to work religiously and to induce extra efforts to achieve the desired results.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Showkat Ahmad Rather, JDP Zahid Sajjad, ACD Mohammad Imran, ACP Shurjeel Ali, Executive Engineers from R&B, REW, CMO, CEO and other officers.
