Cold wave grips Kashmir, Srinagar shivers at -7.3 ⁰C

Kashmir is experiencing extremely cold weather, gripped by the intense Chillai Kalan, the hardest 40 day period of winter. The icy conditions have tightened their grip , particularly in higher altitudes and valleys.

According to the Kashmir weather forecast, Srinagar recorded a temperature of -7.3 ⁰ C .

Tourist destination places Like pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded a temperature of -8.0 ⁰ C and -6.0⁰ C.

Budgam and Ganderbal recorded temperatures of -7.6°C and -6.4°C, respectively. Meanwhile, Bandipora and Baramulla recorded temperatures of -7.4°C and -6.0°C.

Jammu city recorded a temperature of 8.0°C, while Banihal and Bhaderwah experienced colder conditions at -1.8°C and -0.6°C, respectively.
