Srinagar, 01 Jan : Kashmir is experiencing extremely cold weather, gripped by the intense Chillai Kalan, the hardest 40 day period of winter.
According to the Kashmir weather forecast, Srinagar recorded a temperature of -4.4 ⁰C .
Tourist destination places Like pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded a temperature of -7.6 ⁰C and -8.8⁰ C.
Budgam and Ganderbal recorded temperatures of -4.2°C and -3.0°C, respectively. Meanwhile, Bandipora and Baramulla recorded temperatures of -0.7°C and -1.6°C.
According to the Kashmir weather , mostly dry weather is expected across Jammu and Kashmir today. There is a possibility of snow spell in higher reaches of Kupwara, Bandipora, Baramulla and Ganderbal districts.
