Prof. Sehgal said it seems my dream has come true. I am a personal beneficiary of NCC and had the chance to learn many things. NCC provides exposure to a wide range of activities, with a distinct emphasis on social services, discipline, and adventure training, he said.

“I request the Commanding Officer for approval of NCC’s Boys unit for NIT Srinagar,” adding that NCC plays an important role in shaping the character of young people, providing them with opportunities to develop important skills and values that will serve them well throughout their lives.
On the occasion, Commanding officer of 1 J&K Girls Battalion interacted with the cadets and stated that they will collaborate with the NCC unit.
He said NCC provides training and opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills, including decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills.
CO encouraged young cadets of NCC values.
