In a major road accident on Saturday on the Sinthan-Kokernag route, a vehicle skidded off the road, resulting in the deaths of over 4-6 passengers, officials said.
Syed Muiz Qadri, Tehsildar Larnoo said that the accident occurred near Aarshan Hut, 20 km from Daksum Naka, involving a private car.
He added that, according to preliminary reports, it is feared that all the onboard passengers have died as the vehicle rolled down the road.
“We are collecting details, and the passengers who were onboard are being retrieved from the site and taken to the hospital,” he said.
