Tangmarg, Jan 04: A casual laborer employed in the Mechanical and Hospital Engineering Department Subdivision Tangmarg has tragically lost his life following an explosion caused by a tyre blast on a vehicle in the Tangmarg area of north Kashmir.
A police official told Rising Kashmir that a casual labourer working in the Mechanical & Hospital Engineering Department Subdivision Tangmarg died while working on a flat tyre of the vehicle when the rim suddenly detached with force, leaving him critically injured.
“Soon after this incident, he was also rushed to Sub-District Hospital Tangmarg, but he died on the way. The doctors have also declared him dead on arrival,” he said.
The deceased has been identified as Manzoor Ahmad, a resident of Wazipora Tangmarg.
“The postmortem examination of the deceased has been conducted at the hospital to determine the cause of death,” the official added.
