BSGSU celebrates 79th Independence Day

Rajouri, Aug 15: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great patriotic fervor. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Jawaid Iqbal, hoisted the Tricolour at the University campus in the presence of faculty members, staff, and students.In his Independence Day message, Prof. Jawaid Iqbal said, “On this momentous day, we remember with reverence the countless heroes whose sacrifices built the foundation of our independent nation. Their courage is our guiding light, and their dreams are our responsibility to fulfill. Let us unite in purpose, uphold the values they cherished, and work tirelessly towards a Viksit Bharat @2047.”On the occasion, as a mark of respect and solidarity, the University observed a two-minute silence to pay homage to the victims of the recent Kishtwar cloudburst tragedy.
