Srinagar, May 23: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Morcha, Jammu and Kashmir on Friday organised a grand Tiranga Rally at B K Pora, Chadoora in Budgam.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from party workers, supporters, and local residents who came together to celebrate the spirit of unity and integrity under the Indian Tricolour, a statement issued here said.
The rally was led by UT President BJP Minority Morcha J&K, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, along with UT General Secretary Bhat Imtiyaz and UT Spokesperson Fareed Ahmad Fani, who addressed the gathering and reiterated the BJP’s commitment to national integration, communal harmony, and empowerment of the minority communities in J&K.
The programme was successfully organised by Er Mudasir Mir, District President Budgam Minority Morcha, who ensured robust mobilisation and coordination on the ground, the statement said, adding that a number of UT-level office bearers of BJP Minority Morcha were also present, adding strength and solidarity to the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa said, “The Tiranga is not just a flag but a symbol of our unity, sacrifice, and the vibrant democracy of India. Through this rally, we want to send a strong message of peace, patriotism, and participation of all communities in the nation’s progress.”
The rally passed through various localities of B K Pora and Chadoora, with people chanting patriotic slogans and waving the national flag with great zeal.
