BJP Minority Front to celebrate Vajpayee’s birth anniv as ‘Good Governance Day’

New Delhi, Dec 23: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Front National President, Jamal Siddiqui on Monday said the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on December 25 (Wednesday) will be celebrated as “Good Governance Day”.
He said the Front will organise many programmes across the country to commemorate the later leader’s birth anniversary.
Program in-charge, Dr Aslam in a statement issued here said a virtual meeting was organised on Monday regarding the preparation of the programme. He said all the state in-charges, all the state presidents of the front, state general secretary, state program in-charge and co-in-charge along with senior party officials were present in the meeting.
BJP National General Secretary and Front in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam was present as the chief guest. National President Jamal Siddiqui presided over the meeting.
As per the programme, Atal Smriti Sabhas will be organised at every booth in the city. “In the meeting, garlands will be placed on the photo of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and floral tributes will be offered. Atal ji’s poems will be recited by the young participants. The young members of the booth will discuss the major contributions of Atal Bihari Vajpayee as the founder of BJP and the Prime Minister of India,” the statement said, adding, “The achievements and schemes of the government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and the Modi government as well as the improvements brought in the area due to development works will be discussed.”
