BJP celebrates 78th Independence Day with fervour in J&K

Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir celebrated 78th Independence Day by hoisting the National Flag amidst Nationalist sloganeering and distribution of sweets, across the length and breadth of Jammu and Kashmir.

At BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Ravinder Raina, President, J&K BJP, Sh. Ashok Koul General Secretary (Organization), and Sh. Kavinder Gupta, former Dy CM hoisted the National Flag. Sh. Aseem Gupta, Sh. Neelam Langeh, Sh. Tilak Raj Gupta, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Smt.nRekha Mahajan, General Sh. Rakesh Sharma, Prof Kulbhushan Mohtra, Sh. Arun Prabhat Jamwal, Sh. Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, Sh.nPrem Gupta, Er. Dil Bahadur Jamwal, Er TK Sharma, Sh. Nitish Mahajan and others were present on the occasion.

 

At Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan, Kachi Chawni BJP office, former Minister Sh. Sat Sharma CA, former MP Sh. Shamsher Singh, Sh. Arvind Gupta, Smt. Veenu Khanna, Sh. Parmod Kapahi, Sh. Ayodhya Gupta, Smt. Sanjita Dogra, Sh. Sanjay Baru, Adv Rajesh Gupta and others hoisted the national flag.

 

At City Chowk, MP (Lok Sabha), Sh. Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP NEM Smt. Priya Sethi, Vice-President Sh. Yudhvir Sethi, Smt. Purnima Sharma, Sh. Sunil Prajapati, Sh. Hari Om Sharma and others hoisted the national flag.

 

Congratulating his fellow citizens on the 78th Independence Day, Ravinder Raina stressed that we can breathe in free air because of the sacrifices of the heroes. He remembered the supreme sacrifices of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru, Mangal Pandey, Tantya Tope, Chander Shekhar Azad, Ashfaq Ulla Khan, and other freedom fighters.

 

“Today, I along with the whole nation bow in the feet of these great personalities”, he said and also expressed gratitude to the jawans of military, paramilitary, police, civil defense, home guards, and others who dedicate themselves to protect us and our nation.
