Srinagar, Nov 11: In an effort to promote national integration and provide meaningful exposure to the diverse cultural landscape of India, 61 BN CRPF, Shivpora, Srinagar, organized a Bharat Darshan Tour under the Civic Action Programme 2024-25. The initiative is specifically designed for orphans from Jammu and Kashmir, offering them an opportunity to witness and experience India’s rich cultural diversity and heritage.
In collaboration with the Yateem Trust, J&K, a group of 17 students and one caretaker have been selected to embark on this unique educational journey. The tour was officially flagged off today by Sudhansu Shekhar, Commandant of 61 BN, accompanied by other officers including Manish, 2-I/C, Virat, DC, and the trust’s trustee, Mushtaq, along with SO Shaukat.
Over the course of this 10-day tour, the participants will visit Ajmer and Jaipur, where they will explore historical sites and cultural landmarks. Through this program, the CRPF aims to broaden the students’ perspectives, fostering a sense of national pride and encouraging a progressive vision for India’s development.
