Bandipora, Aug 17: District Bandipora Squash championship declared open on Thursday at J&K Sports Council Squash Complex,Gindun Stadium by Arfe Rahim Treasurer J&K Squash Rackets Association.
The ongoing championship is being organised by District Bandipora Squash Association under the aegis of J&K Squash Rackets Association and Sponsored by Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council.
Chief Guest on the opening ceremony encouraged participating players from Bandipora and gifted Caps to all the participants from her own. She expresses her sincere thanks to the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council especially to Secretary Nuzhat Gul for great steps taken for the development of Squash Sport in J&K.
Players have been entered in different categories. The championship which is ongoing at Squash Complex with support of J&K Sports Council will conclude on August 18.
Access Future Foundation, Al- Famiglia, Kashmir Pro Sports Academy supported the championship for making it grand success.
20 matches in Boys Section & 19 in girls section were played in U-15, U-17, U-19 & Senior categories in both sections.
