Srinagar, Aug 12: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and party’s J&K General Secretary (Org), Ashok Koul on Monday led a motorbike Tiranga rally in Srinagar, saying that on August 15, every house will see Tiranga atop to show respect to the tricolour.
Talking to reporters at the party headquarters here, Koul said, “Today, the BJP organised a motorbike Tiranga rally to show love and respect towards the national flag. This is the beginning and we are going to organise more such rallies ahead of August 15.”
He said the people of Kashmir will not just be part of this Tiranga rally but will take a selfie with Tiranga on August 15 and post the same on social media.
The bike rally started from the BJP Office, Jawahar Nagar and passed through Lal Chowk and other parts of the city.
“On August 15, every house should have Tiranga flying atop,” Koul said. “We as a nation are committed to show great honour and respect to this flag and ensure that the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi about making India a self-reliant country by 2047 is fulfilled.”
