Srinagar, Oct 20: Ashish Kumar Mishra assumed the charge as senior superintendent of Police Srinagar from the outgoing SSP Rakesh Balwal.
According to an order, the officers on Friday handed and took over the charges after recent reshuffle in the police administration.
The order came into effect after J&K government relieved Rakesh Balwal to his parent cadre Manipur after his repatriation.
Following this, SSP Anantnag Ashish Mishra was posted as new SSP Srinagar, while Dr G V Sundeep Chakravarthy was posted as SSP Anantnag. (KNS)
