Srinagar, May 19: Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh & Livasa Hospital, Mohali have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide enhanced clinical training opportunities, internship and placement for healthcare students. The MOU was signed between Livasa hospital, Mohali, represented by Ms. Neha rampal, AGM HR, Group Head Talent Acquisition and Harpreet Singh Saini, Deputy Manager HR and Nidhi Chopra, Principal, Himanshi, Nursing Coordinator, Aryans Institute of Nursing.
It is worth mentioning that recently Punjab Governor Sh Gulab Chand Kataria has awarded Aryans Group of Colleges for Excellence in Paramedical and nursing education. Where Education Minister, Punjab S. Harjot Singh Bains was the Guest of Honour The award was received by Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group.
Nidhi Chopra said the MoU aims to provide hands-on clinical exposure to students pursuing healthcare programs, thereby bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical experience. WHO estimates the world will face a significant shortage of 10 million health workers by 2030. This collaboration will empower students with the skills and expertise required to excel in the healthcare industry, Nidhi mentioned.
It is to be mentioned that Aryans Institute of Nursing is already running B. Sc. Nursing, GNM & ANM approved from Punjab Government & INC New Delhi affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot & Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC), Mohali, respectively.
